Attention 7th/8th graders interesting in being chosen to lay the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown at Arlington National Cemetery:
We will be choosing 4 students to participate in a very prestigious ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery while on our trip to DC. If you are interested in being selected, please write a 1-2 page paper in MLA format on what the honor of being selected would mean to you and your family, the reason for the ceremony and how you intend to honor those who have served. This paper is due to Mrs. Laborin no later than January 31, 2018. Those chosen will be given special instructions on what attire is to be worn for the ceremony. Please feel free to search the Internet for videos on the ceremony and its importance.

Hello DC students, Below is a link to the WorldStrides flier which has all of the necessary information you will need to register for the 2018 trip. I have also included the tax credit form for your printing convenience. Please consider printing several, attaching a letter to potential donors and sharing this website in your letter so people can see what you will be doing while on tour.
