Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering!

At Old Vail Middle School we strive to build and maintain positive relationships with all members of the Vail community. We believe that our community’s dedication to its children is one of the things that sets us apart from other school districts. One of the ways we do this is though our volunteers. We value and appreciate each person who chooses to give their time to help our children to reach their full potential.

Steps to volunteer:

  • Fill out the volunteer application:  VSD Volunteer Application
  • You will start the application. Under employment Desired go to “Position Desired”, scroll down to “Volunteer” and then check the appropriate school.
  • By law all volunteers must have a notarized Criminal History Affidavit on file.  Notary services are available at the district office. Please ensure you have a photo ID with  you.
  • Parents/Legal Guardians may stop here. If you are a community volunteer please complete the final step. Arizona law requires any volunteer, other than a parent or guardian, to have a fingerprint card on file. Blank fingerprint cards and a list of fingerprinting locations are available at the OVMS front office.
